AT&T, Warner Media, and Brightline Interactive collaborated to bring the iconic Tune Squad characters to life for the launch of “Space Jam 2: A New Legacy”. Through the combination of Warner Media content, augmented reality, and the AT&T 5G network we were able to create an immersive experience that lets fans select their favorite members of the Tune Squad to pose and take a picture with, which then can be downloaded and shared with family and friends.

The result was the creation of “Pose with the Tune Squad” in Kiosk and WebAR “On-the-Go” mobile app. “Pose with the Tune Squad” gave users the opportunity to take selfies with selected members of the tune squad and share their experience across social media platforms. The kiosks feature a large touchscreen and HD camera. The user would then select to take a photo with the whole Tune Squad or their favorite character. The selected members of the Tune Squad would then enter from offscreen, in Looney Tune fashion, and join the user in AR. All the Tunes and the user pose for a unique and realistic AR sharable photo/video together which is then sent to the user via email or text. Additionally, each kiosk was outfitted with touchless capability for covid-19 precautions, for which the user would scan a AR code and interact with the screen via their mobile device.
